Tip of the Tail Villa

We loved Tip of the Tail Villa ! Its unique location on a point means it is very private and has multiple water access points: dock,protected beach quiet enough for little kids, mangroves for kayaks and SUP. Everything was as described and perfect. The staff took care of every detail and the meals were so good that we didn't eat out once. Our group was 4 couples and 3 teenagers so the kids had the basement bedroom and rec room to themselves. This place is very spacious and would be great for any big group
Highlights for me were the local seafood dinners, the 360 sunrises and sunsets and spending time with friends !

Myself and friends stayed at the Tip of the Tail Villa back in November for a few days.
We were in need of some much deserved R&R and this place didn't disappoint.
Everything about the experience was spectacular.
We arrived at the villa and was greeted (with a tray of "welcome cocktails") by Rupert and Mark, the chef and butler. A great way to start a vacation and it only got better from there.
The rooms were clean, modern and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone had there own beautiful, modern ensuite and a walk out to your own seating area.
The main living area was spacious and comfortable with more than enough room for everyone.
The food that was prepared by the chef was incredible. From the starters to the main courses and desserts, everything was delicious. It was very relaxing not having to worry about preparing your own meals or drinks.
They have a private beach in the lagoon and a wooded deck right out over the water that you could dive from. Because its more secluded than most of the other places and right on the lagoon the sea life was everywhere. We saw turtles, fish and baby sharks. Don't worry the lagoon isn't deep so the big guys can't get in.
They have all the water sport equipment you could want. Paddle boards, snorkles and flippers, kayaks. Everything for a great day on the water. We even rented jet skis from the local marina and they deliver right to the beach. Now that's service.
The pool area has to be seen to be believed. Our first impression was WOW,
As expected we spent most of our time out there just relaxing with a cocktail or two...
The villa itself is on the other side of the island from the "downtown". A quick 15 mins away and 20 from the airport. The owner has made arrangments with a local driver to be at the ready should you need to go anywhere on the island. They have thought of everything.
I would recommend this Villa to anyone who wants a relaxing few days or weeks away from it all. You won't be disappointed.

I arrived at the villa around mid day, was immediately greeted by Marc who presented us with one of his famous cocktails and got us all settled in.

We changed into our beachwear and spent the rest of the day relaxing on the deck and watching the ocean, which almost totally surrounds the villa, providing stunning sea views.

For the entire time that we were there, everything was done for us. Coffee was handed to us as soon as we got up, all the cleaning from the night before was done before we awoke and food was amazing everyday.

Whether we requested tacos, pasta or lobster everything was cooked to perfection and to my disgust I left several kilos heavier because of it!

The facilities couldn't have been better, there is loads of equipment to use in the water, the sonos system was excellent and the splash bar has loads of games for kids and adults, even containing kegs of local lager.

10/10 will definitely visit again given the chance.

We stayed at the Tip of the Tail Villa with a group of 10 adults. From the time we got there and were welcomed by the butler with cool towels and champagne, everything was perfect. The house is ultra modern and the property so unique. We lounged on the pool pad for hours everyday and swam in the beautiful pool several times a day.

The beds and bedding were top quality and the ocean view from all the room is unbelievable. The younger people with us enjoyed the downstairs bar which was equipped with fooseball, pool table and Margareita maker. They also loved the karaoke which wasn't heard from the upstairs rooms.

There is so much to do right on the property. We learned how to paddle board and kayak in the calm waters of Jumba sound. We feasted on steak and lobster, fajitas, tons of fruit, delicious barbecue, and beautiful breakfasts prepared by the skilled chef.

Our rooms were cleaned daily and our laundry done. The weather was perfect but on a few cooler nights we spent time around the huge outdoor electric fire pit.
The staff arranged transport to beautiful Grace Bay where we went for a day trip. There are lots of outing available, but we were truly happy just staying at the villa. We had such a great time that we have rebooked for a birthday celebration this April. Highly recommended for anyone looking to spend time at a unique and quality location.

Tip of the Tail is absolutely beautiful! Great staff, very friendly. Highly recommend this place!! We very much enjoyed our time here.
