Anyone on vacation in Turks & Caicos knows it’s going to be beautiful and it’s going to be sweet, but it doesn’t get much sweeter than the Wind Chime Villa on Turtle Tail Point. For one, Turtle Tail point is narrow, so Villa Wind Chime has expansive ocean views. Secondly, an infinity pool bound by parapets on two sides boasts shallow fire basins that give the white courtyard a classical Grecian feel.
The fact that the entire pool deck is bolstered against the ocean by a decorative (and functional) stone wall makes Villa Wind Chime feel like an ancient Greek palace displaced to the Caribbean. The pool deck also features poolside dining at a bar designed to look over the clear blue water. A pathway from the pool terrace leads to a private beach with lawn loungers and parasols where guests may bring kayaks or SUPS to enjoy warm Caribbean waters. Anyone looking to experience opulence must attend the experience.
All experience and travel logistics are handled by complementary concierges who are experts in world-class hospitality. Arrangements, such as a chef or catering service to cook in Wind Chime’s gourmet kitchen or for an in-villa spa treatment, are also smoothed out by the concierge to assure the finest experiences for all guests. Housekeeping is on staff seven days a week, as well as a gardener, housekeeper, and on-call property manager.
Villa Wind Chime has four bedrooms and four baths, sleeping a total of eight guests. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom but not the way one might expect a bathroom to be. A bathtub on the second floor lets sunset light in through a slatted wall that permits ocean views. There are outdoor rain showers with similar views. There are three king bedrooms and one room with a king and two twins.
The Wind Chime Villa is given a perimeter wall with a mounted name plaque behind which a large private parking area and attractive gardens welcome guests. Decorative fountains persist in garden pathways and hidden architectural nooks. A fitness room with Peloton bike and ocean views allows for workout routines to be maintained, and a sunbed allows for safe, even base layering before heading to the beach or pool terrace.
