Siracusa Retreat is a beautifully restored 18th-century farmhouse, ideally located between the historic city of Siracusa and the protected Plemmirio Marine Reserve in eastern Sicily. This sought-after area is known for its golden sandy beaches, dramatic rocky coves, and its rich archaeological heritage, making it one of the most captivating regions on the island.
Surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden filled with citrus trees, the property features a stunning swimming pool and an atmosphere enriched by the delicate scents of lemon blossom—known locally as zagara—and jasmine, creating a truly authentic Sicilian experience.
In keeping with traditional Sicilian architecture, the farmhouse is laid out on a single level. A grand arched entrance opens into a spacious living and dining area, elegantly furnished in a classic style with comfortable sofas and a long dining table. Two large picture windows seamlessly connect the interiors with the surrounding countryside, filling the space with natural light.
Adjacent to this area is the first double bedroom, while the fully equipped built-in kitchen—warmly decorated in earthy tones—offers direct access to the patio and poolside, perfect for effortless indoor-outdoor living.
A corridor extending from the entrance leads to the remaining sleeping quarters, which include two additional double bedrooms and two single bedrooms, along with three bathrooms—two with showers and one with a bathtub. For families, two extra beds for children can be added to the double rooms.
The entrance to the property is marked by a striking jacaranda tree in bloom, its vibrant blue flowers beautifully contrasting with the warm yellow-ochre tones of the house. The façade is further enhanced by bright lantana bushes and a charming historic doorway that reflects the home’s heritage.
At the rear, a generous lawn opens onto the pool area and a shaded terrace, ideal for dining and relaxing at any time of day. A small citrus grove with lemon, orange, and tangerine trees adds to the charm of the setting. This side of the property is particularly magical at sunset, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful retreat immersed in the beauty of the Mediterranean landscape.

Credit is based on total booking value before taxes and fees. Credit applies to experiences only and cannot be used toward villa rental, taxes, or fees. Credit must be used during the booked stay and expires at checkout. Cannot be combined with other offers and has no cash value. Valid only on new reservations made within the booking window.
