Villa Marlia is a luxurious villa with a private pool and garden, set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside just a few kilometres from Lucca. It can accommodate up to 18 guests with a total of 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, offering the perfect blend of history, comfort, and elegance.
Surrounded by the green hills of Tuscany, the villa enjoys a panoramic position and a large private garden arranged on several levels. The grounds feature manicured lawns, citrus trees, aromatic plants, and flowers, creating a serene and colorful atmosphere. Within the garden, guests can relax on the patio with a lounge area and sofas, or enjoy outdoor meals on the veranda. A higher terrace offers breathtaking countryside views, while a charming glass annex provides a peaceful space for reading, yoga, or painting.
The outdoor area is further enhanced by a magnificent swimming pool (7 x 14 m, depth 1–2.5 m), open from May to the end of September, and equipped with sunbeds, parasols, a hammock, and a gazebo with a relaxation area. Nearby, a pool house includes a changing room, bathroom with a shower, and a fridge for convenience. Additional amenities include a barbecue, wood-burning oven, and ample private parking with both covered and uncovered spaces.
Dating back to the 16th century, Villa Marlia has been beautifully restored, preserving its authentic Tuscan character with stone walls, wooden beams, and terracotta floors, while adding refined modern comforts. The interiors are elegantly furnished, blending contemporary design with antique details for a warm and sophisticated ambiance.
The villa features multiple stylish living areas with sofas, fireplaces, and entertainment options, along with a bright dining room and a large, fully equipped kitchen perfect for preparing shared meals. A laundry room, a guest bathroom, and a separate accessible apartment complete the ground floor. On the upper levels, guests will find additional lounge areas, a study, and generous spaces for relaxation, including a luxurious bathroom with a hot tub and a walk-in dressing area.
Equipped with air conditioning in all bedrooms, mosquito nets, Wi-Fi, and modern amenities, Villa Marlia offers the ideal setting for families or groups seeking an authentic and comfortable Tuscan retreat with timeless charm. Pets are welcome on request.
Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (400.00€); electricity if over 600 Kw per week (0.40€ per Kw); heating according to consumption during winter months. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival). While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
