Villa Nid D'Amour St Martin. Villa Nid D'Amour is located on the gorgeous tropical island of St. Martin and is enclosed in the prestigious, gated community of Terres Basses. This contemporary styled villa is perched on the heights just above the highly sought after Baie Rouge beach, delivering breathtaking views of the shimmering blue sea of the Caribbean and the stunning tropical island of Anguilla, making this the perfect honeymoon retreat or elegant couple's getaway.

The villa features a relaxing Jacuzzi, wonderful heated pool with cascading water, fully air conditioned interiors and subtle relaxing colors. Without even realizing it, this luxurious St Martin villa rental is playing the game of seduction, drawing couples in with its beauty.

Inside, there is an expansive and idyllic living area, perfect for relaxing after a day of tropical fun and a few steps away is the contemporary and fully furnished kitchen with granite counter top island that doubles as an area for casual dining with bar stools and just past the kitchen is the entrance to the second bedroom suite and a spiral stair case leading up to the observation deck to enjoy the endless views or stargazing at night.

Then there is the master suite which is directly past the living room area with the door entry located by the media center. Each bedroom features a king sized bed, a spacious and divine bathroom, ceiling fans to enhance the tropical experience, partial screens and plasma TV, DVD Player and Satellite.

The dining room is a separately enclosed room on the veranda that maximizes views of the Caribbean for a sensational dining experience. The pool terrace features multiple lounge areas, outdoor shower, infinity pool with waterfall from arches and a Jacuzzi.

Heated pools are designed to provide a comfortable swimming temperature. As the pools are outdoors, the actual water temperature may vary depending on environmental conditions such as wind, rainfall, and outdoor temperature, which can affect how warm the pool feels and the temperature it is able to maintain. We had a fantastic stay at Nid d’Amour. hi
We loved the stunning view and a wonderful, inviting pool that was perfectly temperature-controlled. The gas appliances in the kitchen made cooking enjoyable, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The outdoor shower added a refreshing touch, and the fitness equipment was a convenient feature. The housekeeper is so lovely, she made us feel very welcome. The villa’s layout is really nice and the private location provides a peaceful retreat. I almost forgot the sunset terrace! A very special place.

We have fallen in love with this house and will be returning in December, then again in 2024. The location couldn't be better--within minutes to/from the airport and quite close to Marigot, "capital" of French St. Martin. Its bi-weekly market is wonderful. Nid d'Amour is private, quiet and super comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the separate glassed dining room with its view of twinkling island lights at night. The daytime view from the house and terrace is fabulous, over Baie Rouge and Etang Rouge.
Kudos to Isle Blue for responsiveness and thoughtful service. Our concierge and housekeeper were first-rate and helped to make our visit to St. Martin (the second) a success. Isle Blue's network for transportation, provisions and catering was amazing! Thank you so much.

We love Nid D'Amour for several reasons. Of course, number one is being welcomed by Paula! The second is that the layout of the residence and the pool work perfectly for us. We love the geographic location and the site-specific views. Lastly, the proximity gives us easy access to Marigot, Cupecoy, Jordan Village, and Simpson Bay for shopping and dining and several choice beaches should we want to exchange the infinity pool for sand and surf. All our SXM needs are met with Nid D'Amour. See you next year!!!

Paula is the best housekeeper there is and Axel provides an excellent concierge service making certain our stay is first class.

Nearly perfect. Loved the house. Staff was amazing. Unfortunately, the beach was filled with rocks which made it impossible to go in - but i hear that in two weeks the sand will fill in. Neighbors were so nice. The property is gorgeous. Good wifi - some issues with the tv's but that got fixed. It was truly heavenly to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to see the surf. Had a chef for 5 days which was nice but there are so many great restaurants around which were not busy and felt very safe (COVID). The house could use a few more servicing dishes for chef. Janet truly took care of us. Will be coming back!

Nid D'amour was magnificent. House is updated, clean, comfortable, and the view is spectacular. Pool was warm (important for my husband), beds INCREDIBLY comfy, kitchen stocked. (they could update their music situation which is circa 1980, but not listening to our own music was eclipsed by views and other house comforts) As great as the house is, the real bonus of this property was the concierge, Axel, and house keeper, Paula. The two took care of our every need and curiosity and were available to us 24/7. No matter how beautiful a spot is, it's the people who truly make a vacation. They were 5 full stars.

Isle Blue could not have been easier to work with. Planning a last minute vacation and they were very accommodating on money transfers and everything. Wonderful.

Other than the power dying a few times, everything was great. Paula is lovely. Place was wonderful. Loved the VOIP phone...hot tub, gym. Only negative was no lap pool.

Common Questions

Do we share the villa? click to close

No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Are we protected from fraud? click to open

Yes. Isle Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.

Can you explain the reservation process? click to open

Once a reservation request is received, Isle Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Can we arrange an early check in? click to open

Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.

Can we arrange a late check out? click to open

A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.

Are transfers to the property included? click to open

Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.

What to expect upon arrival? click to open

In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

What is the cancellation policy? click to open

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open

In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Isle Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.

Is housekeeping included? click to open

Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and Christmas/New Year holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Are towels and linens provided? click to open

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.

Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open

A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.

Is a hair dryer available? click to open

A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.
